Summary

Recap on our first Ask-Me-Anything webinar (Membership Edition)

Key points from the session:

  • OASIIS membership – the three ways to get involved

We're building different pathways so everyone working toward information integrity in Asia–Oceania can participate at a level that suits them:

    1. Community member
If you're receiving this email and yet to fill up the membership form, you're already here! This is our open level for individuals, supporters, and anyone passionate about our mission.

    2. Organisational member
For legally registered organisations (fact-checking initiatives, newsrooms, NGOs, research groups, etc.) – one designated representative per organisation.
Individuals working independently in the information integrity space are also welcome at this level.

    3. OASIIS Council member
Elected leadership roles representing one of our five sub-regions: East Asia - South Asia - Southeast Asia - Oceania - Central Asia

  • Organisations do not have to be current IFCN signatories or any of the other listed accreditation organisations to join OASIIS.

  • We suggested at least one monthly online meeting to stay connected and aligned.

  • There is no fee commitment for the year 2026.

  • The membership form is available here: https://bit.ly/oasiismembershipform.
